General information
The purpose of privacy policy is to define the rules for data processing on website www.ans.lt (hereinafter referred to as website) performed by public limited liability company Oro Navigacija (hereinafter referred to as AB Oro Navigacija), the types of processed personal data, categories of data subjects, identify the subjects, to which personal data can be disclosed, and purposes, for which personal data can be disclosed, data storage terms, technical and organisational personal data protection measures and the procedure for implementing data subject rights.
The controller of the data processed on the website is AB Oro Navigacija, which ensures that personal data is processed following the personal data protection requirements that personal data controllers are subject to.

The rules were prepared in accordance with the following legal acts:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as the Regulation;
- Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania;
- Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania;
- Rules on Protection and Processing Personal Data of state enterprise Oro Navigacija, approved by the Order No. V-122 of the Chief Executive Officer of state enterprise Oro Navigacija of 31 March 2021 “On Approving the Rules on Protection and Processing Personal Data of State Enterprise Oro Navigacija” (hereinafter referred to as Rules on Processing Personal Data).
Personal data on the website is processed under the consent of the data subject (Item a of Paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the Regulation) and in pursuit of legitimate interests of AB Oro Navigacija (Item f of Paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the Regulation), following the principles pertaining to processing personal data established under Paragraph 1 of Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Personal data is collected from the data subject directly and processed automatically.
For what purposes and what personal data do we collect?
At the website of AB Oro Navigacija the personal data of the following categories of data subjects is processed for the following personal data processing purposes:
- the data (e-mail address) of the persons subscribing to the news of AB Oro Navigacija is processed for the purpose of news provision;
- personal data (name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, date, time and IP address of connection to the system) is processed for the purpose of administrating electronic store of AB Oro Navigacija, website www.ans.lt and providing the ordered services.
Who is your personal data transferred to?
The data of the data subject is not provided to third parties. Data may be transferred to law enforcement institutions, provided there are lawful grounds and purpose for obtaining the data.
Personal data is not transferred to third countries or international organizations, i.e. outside the European Union, except in cases, when AB Oro Navigacija is required to by legal acts or courts.
How long do we store personal data?
The data (e-mail address) of persons who have news subscription of AB Oro Navigacija is processed for the purpose of providing news, the processed data is stored until the data subject terminates the news subscription of AB Oro Navigacija, and then destroyed.
Personal data (name, surname, telephone number, e-mail address, date, time and IP address of connection to the system) are processed for the purposes of administration of electronic store of AB Oro Navigacija, website www.ans.lt and provision of ordered services, the data is stored of 2 years from the moment of service provision. At the end of the storage period, the data is destroyed.
Personal data is destroyed by deletion without the possibility of recovery.
What safety measures do we apply?
Organizational and technical personal data security measures are applied to protect personal data from accidental or illegal destruction, alteration, disclosure, as well as from any other processing of unlawful nature.
AB Oro Navigacija implements technical and organizational measures to ensure that only the personal data necessary for each specific purpose of data processing is processed in a standardized manner. The obligation specified under this clause applies to the amount of personal data collected, the scope of data processing, the period of storage and accessibility.
AB Oro Navigacija undertakes the necessary precautions to preserve the integrity of the personal data of the data subjects and prevent this data from being damaged or lost, including taking care of the necessary data recovery.
In order to protect automatically processed personal data, the following technical data security measures must be applied:
- server and network device open port audit is performed once per year;
- web content management system and plugin audit is performed regularly, web content management system and plugin versions are updated, unused plugins are removed;
- web application firewall (WAF) is installed;
- unique passwords are used to access personal data, which are changed periodically and protected in order to ensure their confidentiality;
- access to personal data and the right to perform data processing actions is granted only to the employees who need access to personal data based on their positions and work functions performed;
- protection of computer equipment against harmful software is ensured (by installing, updating antivirus programs, etc.);
- computer equipment and data transmission network are maintained in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer, maintenance and troubleshooting are performed by qualified specialists, while the technical condition of data transmission network and the most important computer equipment is monitored constantly.
The following responsibilities related to personal data security are assigned for the employees of AB Oro Navigacija:
- the employees must respect the principle of confidentiality and keep any information related to personal data that they come across in the course of their duties secret;
- the employees who process personal data in the course of their direct duties sign a confidentiality pledge before performing their duties;
- the employee must notify help desk of AB Oro Navigacija immediately about a violation of personal data protection or any suspicious situation that may pose a threat to the security of processed personal data.
How are the rights of data subject implemented?
Data subject is entitled to address AB Oro Navigacija regarding the matters pertaining to processing personal data, i.e. is entitled to exercise the following rights:
- the right to obtain information about processing data;
- the right to access the data;
- the right to request rectifying the data;
- the right to request erasing the data (the right to be forgotten);
- the right to restrict data processing.
When the data subject does not agree with the decision of AB Oro Navigacija pertaining to the submitted request related to the implementation of the rights of the data subject, the data subject has the right to file a complaint to State Data Protection Inspectorate or Vilnius Regional Administrative Court.
The rights of the data subject are implemented in accordance with the procedure established under Rules on Processing Personal Data, that are provided on the website of AB Oro Navigacija at www.ans.lt, under the heading Personal Data Protection.
