About SE „Oro navigacija“
SE “Oro navigacija” is the sole provider of the air traffic services, the communications, navigation and surveillance services and the aeronautical information services in the airspace of the Republic of Lithuania for the needs of civil aviation in peacetime. Also, the enterprise is involved in organization and coordination of search and rescue operations in the event of an aircraft accident or emergency.
Echoes from ICAO PBN Workshop
Held together with the EUROCONTROL and the US Federal Aviation Administration, an ICAO PBN Workshop on the airspace design issues related with implementation of Performance Based Navigation was taking place in Vilnius on 21–24 November 2011.
The event was attended by representatives of different aviation institutions from 14 countries, including Switzerland, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.
We are pleased to receive a letter of appreciation from the Regional Director of the ICAO European and North Atlantic Office, Mr Louis Fonseca de Almeida, for the efficient organization of the event.
