About SE „Oro navigacija“
SE “Oro navigacija” is the sole provider of the air traffic services, the communications, navigation and surveillance services and the aeronautical information services in the airspace of the Republic of Lithuania for the needs of civil aviation in peacetime. Also, the enterprise is involved in organization and coordination of search and rescue operations in the event of an aircraft accident or emergency.
Eurocontrol ANSI Leadership’s Visit
On 4 October 2011 the enterprise was visited by Director of the Eurocontrol Air Navigation Services Institute Alexander Skoniezki and Head of the Air Traffic Management Department Hendrik Dermont. The aim of the visit was to discuss the issues of improving quality of the courses organized at the Eurocontrol Institute. The meeting was attended by representatives of the CAA, Vilnius Airport, the Director of the Flight Safety Department of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, Col Remigijus Daujotis and the Chief of the AF Training Centre, Lt Col Mindaugas Grigaliūnas.
