The State Enterprise Oro navigacija has been recognised as winner of the competition of anti-corruption initiatives launched by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. On 26 October 2017, Transport Minister Rokas Masiulis presented a letter of appreciation to representatives of the enterprise.
Oro navigacija has received an award for its anti-corruption initiative to develop on its website an electronic public procurement version for suppliers intending to participate in surveys without publication of notice conducted by the enterprise. Such initiative is considered a model of best practice.
On 26 October a meeting was arranged at the ministry, with participation of enterprises, organisations and companies under the ministry and within its regulative sphere, to share best practice in fighting corruption and consider steps for further prevention.
Also on its website Oro navigacija encourages citizens to put forward proposals on corruption prevention measures. In its daily activities, the enterprise keeps to principles laid down in the Description of Corruption Prevention Policy adopted by it; a confidence line operates at the enterprise, and all news on the corruption preventive measures applied by the enterprise is published regularly.
