About SE „Oro navigacija“
SE “Oro navigacija” is the sole provider of the air traffic services, the communications, navigation and surveillance services and the aeronautical information services in the airspace of the Republic of Lithuania for the needs of civil aviation in peacetime. Also, the enterprise is involved in organization and coordination of search and rescue operations in the event of an aircraft accident or emergency.
Peak Year
Last year was exceptional to us. It was in 2011 that for the first time in its history our enterprise rendered services to more than 200 thousand aircraft, i.e. 200 479. The number of transit flights serviced last year (158 543) had been never reached before either.
The results witness considerable efforts of the staff!
In 2011, major users of the airspace of the Republic of Lithuania were the following five air companies: AIR BALTIC CORPORATION SIA (24 381), LUFTHANSA, A.G. (20 939), FINNAIR O/Y (17 040), AEROFLOT–RUSSIAN (10 587), and RYANAIR (8 810).
